So school is almost over, YEY! I am extremely excited for this semester to be over, so I can just relax and enjoy being at home and to be able to tan and swim in my pool, and train of course. I’ve been lacking a little on that recently…OOPS!
When school will be over, I want to get a job so I can get out of the house. Today I applied to work at an old folks home. I applied to be either a waiter or being in charge of the entertainment.
I feel bad for these people, who are not allowed to get out of their house, and restrain from seing their family.
Honestly, I’m at a point right now where I don’t even care about getting a job, I just wantto do a good action and to help people in need.
I really hope I can get this job so I can help out!!!!
Today I will be showing you a song that is in French, that I actually love so much. I am not the biggest fan of French music, but this one makes me happy and makes me want to dance. Moulaga is a French term meaning money. The chorus is “donnez, do-do-donnez, donnez moi de la moulaga, donnez, do-do-donnez, donnez moi de la moulaga, d’la moulaga” It means give me money.
This song, just brings me happiness. Maybe it’s because it is my boyfriend’s favourite song and he always put it in the car. At first I was like ewww take this off, and now I am just jamming hard with him!! I hope you are going to enjoy it as much as we do!!!!
I want a new puppy. I am currently looking for a baby golden retriever so I can give it all my love and attention.
They are honestly the cutest thing ever. Growing up, I had one. Her name was Delphine! She was the best dog ever. She was my best friend until something tragic happened to her, she started to bleed internally and she died. I was so so so sad. I only have great memories of her.
During quarantine, my brother have her dog at our house. Her name is Ivy (yes the blog is created in HER honour!!) and I love this dog way too much. But the problem is my brother IS SO FRICKEN JEALOUS that his dog love me more that he is trying to keep her away from me. She loves me more cause I TAKE CARE OF HER!!!!!!
He never walks her, I always do, at least two times a day. I feed her and give her attention while he is gaming. Like of course she will love me more. Whenever she comes in my room he gets so mad and he will even keep her in his room for hours just so I don’t see her….
Anyway that’s why I want a dog for myself. Cause I’ll take care of it and give it all my attention. Nobody will come take her from me and life will be better.

I started playing when I was 10 years old in my hometown Gatineau. I was the only girl of the team and honestly it wasn’t that bad except some guys never wanted to share the ball and play with my but when I got older (12) I started to be really good and I was team captain. Later on, guys did pass the ball and it was fun!! But my career as playing with ONLY boys wasn’t going to last forever. Once I’ll reach 14, I won’t be able to play with them after, cause the category wouldn’t be mixt anymore.
When I was 13, I joined a second team named CAMO, (litteraly the best team in Canada) and it’s located in Montreal. I Would still play with CWPG (my team in Gatineau) but every weekend I would drive to Montreal to play with team.
When I was 14, I moved to my grandparents house in Montreal in order to play waterpolo with CAMO. I was at a sports-study high school named Edouard-Montpetit, which is a public school. Every morning you would go to school and in the afternoon go do your sport. I stayed in Montreal until I was 19.
During that time, I won: 8 national championships, 6 provincial championships, a tournament in Hawaii that I was named MVP and one panamericain championship. My dream was to make the national team and I made it. I was also named MVP and on the all star team multiple times.
My first tournament ever with the national team was in 2017. It was the Junior World Championship and it was located in Greece. We finished 7th in the world. My second tournament was the Panamericain Championship and finished 1st. We beat USA in semi final and beat Brazil in final. It was insane!! My third tournament was FISU in Italy, we finished 4th in the world which was crazy!! My four tournament with the national team was another world championship in Portugal and finished 8.
The last two tournament was last summer when I was 20. Now here am I at Marist. I’ve been playing here on the team for 2 years now! Love playing here.
Now I’m waiting to see what life will bring me. I want to go to the olympic in 2024, but honestly I might be a little over that and start my life as a normal person. We will see!!

I think I might be getting stir crazy. I feel prisoner in my house, and the worst thing is I’m getting SOOOOOO ANNOYED with my brother’s girlfriend. Since the beggining of the quarantaine, she have been staying at my house and she is the worse. LOL
I moved out for a week of my house to go live with my other brother, and honestly that was the best decision I have ever made. We basically been living the life. We make food, drink beer and wine, play games like Mario party on the wii and Mario Kart (I suck at Mario Kart lol), watch movies, at night we like to make a fire outside and look at the stars. Yesterday we went on a hike in the mountain.. I thought it would be you know a cute mountain, but nope. It was a huge one with rocks and trees everywhere. I almost died 5 times. It was fun to get out of the house tho, I also burned cause I forgot to put sunscreen ayyyy yes myriam!!
So basically that’s what I’m trying to do to not get stir crazy. But tomorrow I’m going back to my house with my other brother, and oooh no im not excited. I’ll keep you update. Alsooo Wiz Khalifa released his new album for 4/20 and I love it. Listening to music helps me out during this crazy time. Thank god it exist!!! My favorite song from this album is “High Today”
I started to watch the Netflix Original show: Tiger King. It’s a short documentary about animals at the zoo (specially big cats) and different directors such as Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin.

Joe Exotic hates Carole Baskin so much that he is now in jail because he tried to murder her. She is the most fake person I have ever seen. She did everything in her power to destroy Joe Exotic. She is against zoo keepers like Joe because she thinks that they are mistreating the animals and keeping them in small cages, blablabla… BUT SHE DOES THE EXACT SAME THING!!! She even dress the animals!! WHAT THE HELL! Anyway, so Carole Baskin’s husband, Don Lewis, millionaire, disappear like that. She declared him “missing” then dead after 5 years and took his entire assets… Her brother worked in the police and he for sure helped her cover it.
Joe Exotic always thought she killed her husband and she did not like that. He made multiples videos about her, and honestly, the more I read about her, and the more I watch things about her, I actually think she did kill her husband and feed him to tigers… Anyway watch this video! It is hilarious!!

Recently, I haven’t been feeling myself. I’ve been suffering from Depression and I’m getting the help needed which is great. But with the current situation going on (COVID-19), it’s been hard sometimes. Sometimes, I wake up sad and I feel like no one can understand how I am feeling so I listen to Juice Wrld. He was a raper who died from an overdose last year. He was really young, 21 years old. I can relate to some of his songs, because it kinda says what I am thinking in some ways, without the drugs (cause I don’t do drugs). This song Rich & Blind is one of my favorite in the moment, because when I listen to it, it just makes me feel like im not alone in this situation.
this is a part of the song, which I can relate…But like I said, I don’t relate to everything (drug, death, etc). I know this is temporary and everything will get better soon.
The scene that I will be analyzing is at the beginning of the movie. The main character Severine is riding horses with her husband Pierre. They are getting into an argument and then Pierre decides to drag her into the woods followed by two other men. Pierre started to undress her brutally and the two men start to hit her violently with whiplash.
I agree that the movie is old (created in 1967) but the sound effects and the footage are pretty bad. We can see that the two men hit the Severine pretty fast and hard, but whenever we see Severine getting hit it always goes slowly to her body. I think they could have done a better job doing a more realistic job by showing the men and Severine together at the same time of getting hit and not separated (one part we see them hit, and then we see the woman receiving the hit).
Also, after several hits, the woman NEVER gets any mark or redness… which shows that it is not really realistic. By the strength of the hit, she should at least get red. It is not normal that after receiving multiples hit, nothing shows up on her body. I think they could have put more emphasis on that to make it seem more real.
Severine isn’t screaming or anything while receiving the hits. She is only moaning. Before watching the entire movie, since this part was at the beginning of the movie, I thought that she was enjoying the hit and it kinda seems like she was having some hard sex… and then after finishing the movie, I wish like ohhhhhh now it make sense, she is masochistic.
Earlier this semester, we saw in class some videos of how sound is made in a movie. Since we saw these techniques, I can never see a movie without thinking about that. During the entire movie, I could only think of how poorly the sounds we’re made. I think if the movie was about to be reproduced today, they could fix this issue easily and it would give a better touch of the movie.
I also think that it was weird that her husband was watching and letting her getting beat like that. He even tells the men at the end “she is yours” and we see a man kissing her body. I thought that was pretty weird. I wouldn’t let my husband getting hit in front of me and kiss by other people… That was kinda sketch in my opinion.
Before watching my final movie, I started to watch L’Age D’Or by Luis Bunuel, but honestly, that movie was extremely weird and it was in black in white. It started with a short movie about the life of scorpions and then went on how they attack rats to some old guy praying in costumes. I was like HELL NAH so I decided to switch for Belle de Jour, a film created in 1967 by the same author from the previous movie, Luis Bunuel.
Severine is the main character of this movie. She is married to a man named Pierre, who is a doctor. They don’t seem to have the best marriage, because starting from the beginning of the movie, she doesn’t seem to be sexually satisfied. Severine is a beautiful woman who has some masochistic fantasies. Eventually in the movie, she talks to an old friend and they address the subject of this house, where people go to have “fun”. The name of the house is “Maison d’Anaïs”. La Maison d’Anaïs is a bordel/ a prostitute house. She eventually goes there and starts working there under the name of Belle De Jour, because she is only offering her services in the afternoon.
Later on, one of her clients, Marcel, gets really intense and obsessed with her. She then stops going to the house because of him. He was extremely jealous of her husband, then finds out her real name and her address. He threatens her to tell her husband everything.
Marcel gets so crazy that he tries to kill Pierre. He shoots him. Unfortunately for Marcel, Pierre survives, but gets really bad. He is now blind and paralyzed. After that, I won’t lie, I didn’t finish the movie because it was getting really late and I couldn’t focus anymore.

Overall, I give this movie 3.5 ratings. It was for sure different and for an old movie, I enjoyed it. There was a lot of action and I listened to it in French which was great. Last semester I had a French Film Class and honestly, the movies were pretty bad, but this one I enjoyed it. I recommend this movie if you have some time and want to watch an old movie.
NCAA has cancelled EVERY Sports… It’s crazy. We have trained so much for nothing and I think it is really sad.
Now I’m back in Canada, and I have to be in isolation for 14 days, because I was back in the Country, and I was in the United States. It really sucks. I high key want the school to be online for the rest of the semester, because I don’t feel good coming back to campus with everything going on… and the border might close soon, so I better just stay here in isolation lol.
